Making a Character:

[li]You must complete an application for your characters before you can begin RPing.

[/li][li]Please post the application in the pending area. It won’t be checked if it is placed anywhere else. (If it is placed in the accepted area it will be deleted.)

[/li][li]Please follow all of the rules given in the application.

[/li][li]Please use only celebrity claims. There are to be no nameless emo kids, or anime people. It makes everything easier.

[/li][li]If you wish to make a cannon character you must have an admin's approval. (PM an admin and ask. Please not in the cbox.)

Posting Rules:

[/li][li]You are expected to post at least 150 words per post; otherwise you won’t be able to press the post button.

[/li][li]Please read through your posts to make sure that they make sense. If the post doesn’t make sense, please understand that you may be asked to change it to make sense.

[/li][li]Verbal conversations in the posts should be in quotations. No asterisks (*) around actions unless you are in the cbox.

[/li][li]Please stay in character unless using OOC at the end of the post.

[/li][li]Please post in third person past tense.

BAD EX: I go to the store.

GOOD EX: Sarah went to the store.

[/li][li]Use proper grammar.

[/li][li]Use spell check. Proboards has one built into the reply, and Mozilla Firefox does it automatically. Otherwise do it yourself.

[/li][li]Please post in a timely fashion. All threads that haven’t been posted in one month will be moved to the trash bin, and there will be no getting them back. (Ask if you want them back, but it better be a good reason.)

[/li][li]Once you have finished a thread, please notify an admin so that the thread can be moved to the archives.

[/li][li]Mature threads are not to happen on this site. Take it off site, or fade to black. Contact an admin for information if you wish to have smexy time.

[/li][li]Your character's can't have a child if they have not been in a long term relationship. (I mean that in your RPing that it has gone through months of them together.) It makes no sense to have your characters date for a week, and then they are pregnant. (You can't tell that fast in real life). Contact an admin for approval of the child if you wish to have one.

Character/Tracker/Signature Rules:

[/li][li]You have to create a new account for each of your new characters. (With that in mind you can use the same password for every account.)

[/li][li]Start with five to ten to make sure that they are all active. Then make more.

[/li][li]Limit characters to ten in the beginning. After 250 cumulative in character posts you may create more. Staff and admins are not exempt from this rule!

[/li][li]Please only 2 cannon characters per person unless approved by an admin.

[/li][li]Create a tracker if you have over four characters. It helps keep track of threads and characters.

[/li][li]Your signature must not exceed 500x450 pixles. If you stretch the page your sig will be removed. No flashing images, and no moving images.

[/li][li]Avatars must be 100x100 pixels.

Chat Boxes:

[/li][li]For the normal chat box there are rules posted below them. Please follow those. If you need them right now they are as follows:

1. NO advertising in the Cbox.
2. Be respectful of all members.
3. No excessive language.
4. Please keep arguments out of the Cbox.
5. Spammers will be sent to the dungeon!
6. No Drama please, we don't want to see it

[/li][li]For the in character chat, you should have made a character and it has been accepted. There is no need for non-characters posting there.

[/li][li]New people, and people wanting to create a character are free to post in the regular chat box to get to know people, and to get help.

Site Conduct:

[/li][li]Please stay active on the site. If you are going to be inactive for a while please post an away notice. If you are planning on leaving the site, please notify an admin and your threads will be deleted.

[/li][li]Reminding someone is okay if they have left the thread not replied to for over a week, but wait a week or so before reminding.

[/li][li]Obsessive nagging in the chat box will have you banned without question. (You will be warned in the chat box/ and a PM will be sent for the first few times.)

[/li][li]Please create a chatango account. It is free, and you won’t be charged unless you use certain smilies. (You only need one for the site)
